Delicious as always. 46 years being a customer.

The food is and always has been great. The bad thing is their parking is not the best and they have no restroom for customers. Also they closed the store on Firestone which is closer to where i live. But the people and food gets five stars

Big flavor and big portions, great American style Mexican food.I can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu.

The food is not authentic mexican food, the beans taste like beans from a can, the nachos w/ carne and queso was also not good not enough cheese or meat. I paid $23.00 dollars and did not eat the food we ended up throwing out and heading to another spot.

Love the quesadillas with both red and green sauce

This spot is my favorite. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The team is very welcoming and the cooking they serve is so good. I never decline to have a good meal in this place. I highly recommend this place.

Always fresh, fast, and tasty food. Their Quesadillas (combination) and Chicken Soft Tacos are among my favorites.

Food is good I don't know I think the rice was a little bit salty but over all the food is great

I made a quick stop here with my kids, at first i was highly doubtful it would be good much less healthy... To my pleasant surprise the customer service was excetional the cashier was very helpful and caring helping choose what to order for my kids, she brought the order out to me herself, i had the asada burrito and my kids has two tacos, the price is affordable, the food quality is fresh and healthy, the quantity is just right too. Its our new favorite spot now, thank you "EL TACO" 👍

Quesadilla heaven!

Been going here since we were kids and even my parents since they were kids.Every time we go to California from Vegas we ALWAYS stop here. Absolutely love their cheese quesadillas and housemade salsa. Been having these for years!!

Overpriced rip off joint sensationalized by people who don't know better. El Taco's best days are behind them. AVOID

Great price for Delicious food

A wonderful experience. I had the taco salad prepared just like I want it and my mother and brother got their food perfectly made also. It was pretty funny the cashier order taker politely told me as I tried to make my salad the way I want it that maybe I should reconsider ordering because this isn't the place you want to go if you want to eat healthy. I laughed out loud. But I did get a healthy taco salad and it was perfect. They gave me extra salsa and it was just the right amount of hot and spicy.

Best quesadillas and taquitos ever!! I've been going to El Taco since the 80s, and not once have I ever been disappointed. Sad to see the Firestone location go, but Florence is just as good! Hopefully it will be there for many more years to come.

This is the only real El Taco and now it’s the only one left. I’ve been coming here for many years and continue to do so. The Tex mex food is the best and they keep me coming back

I had heard from many Downey residents how good El Taco's food was. It was hard to believe a fast-food establishment would be different than any other. I was sooooo wrong! The menu has unique items and the taste is much better than the other chain drive-thru restaurants. I am glad I finally tried the food and I will go back many more times. Love this place the rolled quesadillas are sooooo good !! The green sause mixed with the cheese yummy. Taquito's aren't bad either

This place is a Downey institution. Everytime I'm nearby I've got to hit the drive through for some taquitos with cheese and a red quesadilla. Seriously, these are some of the best taquitos I've ever had.

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE! this has to be my first time saying this ..worst food me and my family have ever had...my whole order consisted in slime filling and wet paper thin tortillas on top of that my order was incomplete paid almost $30 for a slime feast save your money and go to taco bell which is sadly high end compare to this place

Absolutely love this place.

This little place has great Mexican fast food. Prices are excellent for the good portions you get. Everything is tasty. I've been going here for years, and haven't had a bad thing yet. The chunky chicken tacos are my favorite!

Meat is tasty. Beans taste like canned beans. I had the nachos and they do load the guacamole and sour cream. The chips are not nacho chips so the nachos got soggy pretty quickly. I would recommend thicker chips for nachos.

I actually like going to this place to get the Sloppy Joe sandwich, the fries and the ground beef tacos. The drive is small but they are pretty fast. They are always friendly and I also love the salsa and hot sauce. It’s really good. If your looking for a cool taco spot quick this is the place to go. I definitely recommend them.

The bean and cheese burrito the right amount of cheese and the right temperature. I loved it! The soft carne asada taco was very tasty!

I use to come here when I was younger and the quality of food has changed since then. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it tasted horrible. The potatoes were not throughly cooked all the way through, there was an overwhelming amount of ham that made the burrito too salty, and there was only one small chunk of cheese way at the bottom of this burrito.

DELICIOUS carne asada nachos! Would have given 5 stars, but was charges full price for a half order, kinda a drag since i didnt notice till I was home (20 min away), other then that, it was great!
